Our Pre-Race Expo is held at MDP’s Parish Center on (date to Be Announced). This is your opportunity to pick up your race packet, mingle with the competition, have some light refreshments, and hear the story of our Keynote Speaker
This is one of the most remarkable young men you will ever encounter. As a young boy, Macharia Yuot was forced to leave his home and family as one of the Lost Boys of the Sudan. These boys walked over 1,000 miles to flee a civil war. Yuot eventually came to America and settled in West Philadelphia, and began still more journeys: to learn a new way of life...to develop into one of the most promising athletes of his generation...to become a US citizen...and to reach a helping hand back to his people in the Sudan.
